Hunter
Overview
Hunter is a class focused on solo play and farming. In parties, hunter has always only brought single target damage to the table. On Timelines, we have adjusted Steel Crow to provide more natural damage to blitz beat, making it an effective cleaver in parties. Traps were also adjusted to make more of them appealing outside of just Ankle Snare.
Job Change
The Hunter job change is unchanged and a guide can be found here.
Equipment Related Changes
- More bows now drop with slots or have had their base attack adjusted. This will provide additional options when carding bows.
Skill Changes
Hunter changes were aimed to produce a higher level of play for the class as a whole. With monster agility actually mattering vs Ankle snare now, Hunters can't just snare every mob and snipe it with no risk. As a trade off, all status applying traps have been adjusted to almost always apply their debuff. Instead of needing 3-4 traps to sleep/freeze and enemy, you will most likely only need 1. Timelines also adjusted steel crow to make Auto-Blitz feel better as a build. Now your bird actually does damage! Trap hunters should also rejoice seeing that while they cant stack traps, their AoE on traps are considerably bigger.

Other Notes
The average damage increase between vanilla Blitz Beat and Timelines Blitz beat is about 70% without investment. It is not uncommon to Blitz beat for 1500+ with minimal investment.
