Overview

Crusaders are knights of holy Virtue. Aiming to purge the realm of demons, undead, and darkness alike. Crusaders on timelines have received quite a few Quality of Life changes so that they can operate/function similar to their Paladin counterpart. With changes to Providence, Holy Cross, and skill requirements. The once Job hungry Crusader is now living the good life, able to afford the skills they need to compete.

Job Change

The Crusader job change is unchanged and a guide can be found here. However, the job 50 reward has been updated to be a Zombie Card.

Equipment Related Changes

  • Most level 3 and 4 spears now drop slotted or have had slots added. Adding variety to your weapon pool. A variety of level 1 and 2 weapons have also had their slot amount updated, adding further variety.

Skill Changes

Crusaders that go down the Grand Cross tree now have easy access to Providence and can cast it on themselves. Allowing them to gain even more resist when undergeared, and reduce damage further when properly geared. Holy cross now grants the user Aspersio for a short period of time after casting it, allowing for Agi builds to benefit from Holy Weapon when farming without the need for a priest. Devotion was left mostly untouched and still has to choose between max reflect and defending aura. However, Devotion is required now more than ever without Assumptio being easily accessible.
